It's been a while since we visited the 4th Street Lola's location. We frequent the Bixby Knolls location often! Great food and service! We came for lunch. Of course, we started with warm chips, salsa and their green "crack" sauce! So hard not to fill up on chips! I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos, excellent choice. Loved the pico! Served with their Garlicky Black Beans, so good! My friend had the Avacado Mango Salad, also an excellent choice! Lola's is a local Gem in Long Beach. Both locations have the best food and staff!

Such nice atmosphere outside on the patio! The service was prompt even though they were busy and honestly some of the best birria tacos I've ever had!!!

I love the atmosphere here. The drink menu is incredible & they offer a variety of unique dishes. I do wish they had a few more classic, simple options, but that's just my personal preference, I can be a bit selective. That said though, everyone I've ever brought here has really enjoyed it. Shout out to the super friendly staff.

The promise of unlimited chips brought me to Lola's, and I can vouch that Lola's is a big slay for Long Beach. They didn't just have options for vegans, they had several meals to choose from. I selected the vegan enchiladas with red sauce and gooooorl, I was not disappointed. The energy inside Lola's was relaxed yet energetic, it would be a great date night spot. Although we sat outside, I spotted a spacious patio out back that we will definitely come back to once the weather warms up. Service was quick and friendly, our total bill was around $41.00 for two meals with no alcohol. Although we did not order margaritas, I will confess that the table next to us had and they looked like chefs kiss perfection. We will absolutely be back to Lola's!

This was a nice experience. We sat outside in the front - nice vibe and great opportunity to catch up with friends. Margaritas were $5 and very good. I had the Chonchita Phibil, which was excellent. Service was right on. No complaints.

Place was AMAZING!!!! Cute little spot filled with so much goodies. First time here and would definitely come back!! The workers are very friendly. Chips are unlimited, they have special drinks on Tuesdays as well as taco Tuesday's,. I do recommend the chicken mole!!

Unfortunately, our eyes did not eat first haha! The oaxacan mole and mole poblano were to die for. And the rice on both dishes were perfectly cooked and I could eat a whole dish of just that! Pitcher of Lola's Margarita was great but nothing out of the norm. Still a solid choice! Small restaurant but not overcrowded. Great environment and noise level for a fun night out. Servers are also beyond kind!

Lola's is a great little Mexican cuisine spot with great vibes. I was introduced to this spot by my cousin. We met up for some drinks and early dinner. We came in on a Monday and they had delicious $5 margaritas that were made just to my liking. The table side salsa and chips were really good and I like that their salsa was actually spicy. I also tried their burrito which was pretty good but their food are a little on the pricey side for Mexican. However we were pretty happy with our food. The staff is very nice and attentive. They also gave great recommendations. The inside of this spot is cute and casual. It's great for large or smaller groups. I want to come back on Tuesdays for their specials.

We came to Lola's for their seasonal dish of chiles en nogada, often served during September in Mexico for Mexican Independence. We found street parking nearby and did not have a wait midday on a weekend, though Lola's stayed fairly busy the entire meal. There is covered outdoor seating up front and back in a patio area, as well as some tables indoors. Our server was friendly and attentive. We perused the large menu with lots of regional dishes and clever names. Food on offer seemed very authentic. The interior was also lively and colorfully decorated. Prices were mid-range with fair portions. We settled on the sope trio as appetizer, then chile en nogada and enchiladas suizas as main course. The sopes were a bit small but had a nice texture and flavorful meats. The chile en nogada was sweet as expected. The enchiladas suizas were good but I didn't expect the chicken added to be in a tomato-based sauce. We had water and jamaica (hibiscus agua fresca) to drink, and the jamaica was concentrated and flavorful. The tortilla chips were kind of in-between the bad American kind and the thick Mexican totopos and were just mediocre for me. Chips came with two salsas, one more tart and one creamy. Overall, a solid dining experience and would definitely return to try more off of the menu!

Luck of the Irish today. We nabbed the last parking spot in the lot on the corner. YES!!! We love Lola's. We got our choice of tables from inside to the patio in the front and the back. We chose inside. Hot fresh chips and salsa. Loved that green sauce, whatever it is. I couldn't decide on what to eat, vacillating between taquitos, Sopes, fish tacos or butternut squash enchiladas. The server said we should order the enchiladas. They were delicious with grilled vegetables but the taste of the squash was very low. Ok, bye.
